Psicolinguística e Modelos Baseados no Uso

Abstract


Teorias linguísticas e teorias de processamento linguístico têm objetos de estudo distintos, e, portanto, objetivos e metodologias de trabalho diferentes. Neste artigo, temos como objetivo demonstrar que, apesar dessas diferenças, há espaço na psicolinguística para modelos de processamento da linguagem assentados sobre noções caras a modelos linguísticos baseados no uso, como eficiência e objetivos comunicativos. Para tanto, apresentamos dois modelos de processamento linguístico bastante diferentes em seus pressupostos, e analisamos como estes se revelam pontos de convergência e divergência com diferentes teorias linguísticas. Dessa forma, esperamos contribuir para o aumento do número de colaborações entre linguistas e psicolinguistas que desenvolvem trabalhos com modelos baseados no uso.
