Abstract

Este artigo apresenta um estudo do modelo estatístico utilizado nosestudos variacionistas e uma análise das especificidades do softwareVarbrul em relação aos métodos convencionais de estimação deparâmetros. Além disso, apresenta os aspectos teóricos estatísticosmais relevantes que contribuem para a análise da variação linguísticae uma análise comparativa entre os resultados do Varbrul e do SPSS.
